Namie's Frog is a large frog of streams in the Yanbaru forests of northern Okinawa Island, with warty skin. At night it hunts insects, crabs and other prey near the water. Its range is limited and it is vulnerable to forest development and degradation of rivers, so it is designated a Natural Monument of Okinawa Prefecture.
