About the Beadlet Anemone

About the Bubble-tip Anemone (Coral Anemone)

The bubble-tip anemone is a large sea anemone whose tentacle tips may swell into bulbs, and it hosts anemonefish. In Kanagawa, a large aggregation occurs offshore at Fukuura Katsurago in Yugawara. This aggregation and the Umeboshi anemones around Mitsuishi in Manazuru are covered by a prefectural Natural Monument designation.
